This is typically a traditional drama, and the story was adapted from “The Journey to the West”. This program focused on the spontaneity of kids to express their action and spoken language. Through the sensory exploration、rhythm、imitation and imagination to guide the kids to develop their self-sensory、body movement、thinking and creativity.
Along with the going of the story, let the kids act as the wind and fire by using their little hands、mouth, helping the characters to transfigure. By the interactive way, the kids can participate in the performance and watch the show simultaneously. We particularly make the brand new and cute style non-woven setting and puppets for this show, and it will subvert the imagination of the kids on puppet show!

The story goes this way: Monk Tang-san-tsang and his apprentices heading for taking the Sutras in the West, they were trapped by the hot flame of Fire-Flame-Mountain. Sun-wu-kong and Princess of Iron-Fan stuck in a fierce fighting because of the Fan. Let’s see how smart Sun-wu-kong was to get the Fan and keep leaving for their mission to the West.

Under the Taiwan puppet master Lee-Tien-Lu’s enlightenment, being apprenticed by 2 masters Chen-shi-huang and Lee-tran-tsan, in order to keep the performing skill and quality of traditional puppet art, and create the international arena for Taiwanese puppet show , Taipei Puppet Theater was founded in 2010.

The theater performers are mainly middle-aged and with average apprenticeship over 15years. They make their career purpose to continue the life of traditional puppet shows, they are the vibrant new generation of puppet theater in Taiwan.
