Introduction

Two masters of mime lead you into a humorous night of bizarre dreams.
Toured successfully in France and abroad, and performed with great success at the Festival Off d’Avignon 2009 and 2010.

In the still of the night, a quarrelsome couple toss and turn in bed, caught up in a strange series of fleeting dreams.
While he is busy battling with his mischievous duvet, she morphs into a shadow who loves to play jokes.
There’s more: a pianist who plays upside down, a sleepwalker who takes to the air.
All put in an appearance during this striking visual tale that reshapes the boundaries of reality and imagination.

Julien Lubek and Cécile Roussat met each other in 2000 during their study in the institute of Marcel Marceau. In after years, they have worked in different fields such as narrative theater, the art of clown, puppet and acrobat in schools like National Center of the Circus Art and the Cours Florent. Their love of classical and baroque music brings them lots of collaborations with musicians, and they often work in various forms of expressions. Between pleasantry and gental melancholy, words and music, shows their simplicity with rich emotion.

Since 2004, they have been invited in many theaters from France to Hong Kong. Their company Shlemil Théâtre was founded in 2008, and the two artists developpe today a new step of their artistical course.The first creation of the company Les Ames Nocturne (2008), made a big success from the year 2009 to 2010 in the Festival of Avignon OFF, and now touring in France and all over the world.
